Since 1998, the Institute of Quantum Information Processing and Systems (iQUIPS) has been supported by the Creative Research Initiatives of the Korean government . iQUIPS is conducting both experimental and theoretical research in quantum information processing and quantum computing. This field is of prime interest because it will have significant impact on electronics and computation, as it is expected to be a leading technology of future high-speed, high-density information-processing society. Our research staff includes two full-time faculty and ten post-doctoral fellows. They have published more than a hundred papers in major international journals and conferences so far.
