Hyok Kim is Professor of Public Administration at the University of Seoul. Before joining UOS in 2003, Professor Kim served as Associate professor at Hankyong National University. He received an B.A. in Political Science & Diplomacy from Yosei University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the Graduate School, Northwestern University.

Professor Kim’s current research interests focus on public policy, with a particular emphasis on the effect of political structure on public policy formulation. He has published on several topics including : citizen-centered e-Governance, presidential leadership and policy agenda setting, representative bureaucracy and Governance institutionalization.
