Seoul Center for Continuing Education
  • Opening a Venue of Life-long Education for the Citizen of Seoul
    • In 1997, Continuing Education Center, the University of Seoul set up an open university for the citizens of Seoul in order to provide residents of Seoul the opportunity to enjoy life-long education. Its Cheonggyecheon(Stream) Br. at 540 Cheonggyecheonno (527-6 Majang-dong), Seongdong-gu, Seoul provides a broad range of programs, including foreign languages, computers, autonomous citizens & life economy, understanding international relations, Seoul studies, and cultural events. Its vocational courses help their enrollees get jobs and improve practical skills useful in everyday life. The center is planning to develop more structured educational programs and introduce a credit bank system.
