    • Established in 1995, the Department of International Relations, aims to train students to prepare for a professional career in both foreign and international fields in this era of globalization and internationalization. To achieve this, the department provides students with selected courses and programs which deal with the growing interdependence between various factors in the global community including: sovereign states, society, individuals, foreign governments, transnational and supranational organizations such as NGOs and INGOs. The curriculum also features a combination of theory and practice by emphasizing the three major fields of discipline: area studies, international affairs, and international exchange programs. Since 1999, the department has launched t international field work program to experience the traditions and cultures of foreign countries such as China, Japan, and Mongolia. We will continue to make every effort to offer disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches to the pursuit of knowledge and to the solution of global problems.
